Kapwa Movie Nights is back for Filipino Heritage Month!

This initiative by @martinthomasdufresne started last month with Asian Heritage Month, with the goal of presenting films made by Asian and Filipino filmmakers.

This is a way to celebrate the creativity within our community, for our stories deserve to be told and put forward, and to expand our perception of movies beyond the mainstream western media by promoting Asian cinema.

For Filipino Heritage Month this June, we will be screening CLEANERS (2019) directed by Glenn Barit.
